Anniversary concert - 20 years of the Tiroler Landesjugendorchester

The Tyrolean State Youth Orchestra has been an important ensemble for young professional musicians in Tyrol since 2004. Every year, there are on average two different projects with several major concerts in cooperation with various concert organisers and festivals at home and abroad. The ljo is an initiative of the province of Tyrol, now continued in co-operation with the Tyrolean String Music Association and consists of outstanding music pupils and music students aged 13 to 26. The orchestra works together with a team of teachers and changing guest conductors and is organised by the Tyrolean String Music Association under the direction of Dr. Sonja Melzer.
