The theater as a film set. Two Fellinis compared, the young and the old.
A journey through the images of Fellini's cinema. Starting from his biography, from the interviews and the words of his friends, we will travel through the dream images that made his cinema great. The young Fellini is about to shoot his first film, the set is ready but suddenly his old alter ego appears, predicting what will be the career of one of the greatest Italian directors. The two Fellinis find themselves discussing improvising certain situations and playing the role of great actors, heralding what will become the most iconic scenes of Fellini's cinema. They will evoke the magic of cinema and the atmospheres of the sequences that made the Romagna filmmaker unforgettable. An emotional swing that will oscillate between expectations, tests, unexpected events and jokes. The old Fellini tells the young man by announcing some events and situations that have marked his life. The young Federico will therefore try to seek advice and test his tenacity and talent, thus releasing the tension for the start of filming.
