10 years of the "Sinfonisches Blasorchester Tirol": Gala concert with grand wind symphonies

For ten years now, the Tyrol Symphonic Wind Orchestra has been bringing together talented musicians from Tyrol, South Tyrol and neighbouring countries to form a cross-border select orchestra.

To mark its 10th anniversary, the orchestra, conducted by Bernhard Schlögl, will present a programme of significant symphonic works. The concert evening will open with Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy's Overture for Wind Band, followed by Alexandre Kosmicki's Danse Satanique. Wotan's Farewell and Fire Magic from Richard Wagner's Die Walküre is a dramatic and emotionally profound work from the world of opera literature – in an extraordinary wind orchestra arrangement.
The highlight of the evening will be Ludwig van Beethoven's 5th Symphony in an impressive arrangement for wind orchestra.

A celebration of music, a celebration of community – and a fitting highlight for the 10th anniversary of the Tyrolean Symphonic Wind Orchestra.
