Youth theater: Nina and Paul (in german language)
For 1st to 3rd grade middle school
One love, two perspectives
The last day of school. There are report cards. And Paul finds out that Nina will be moving to grammar school after the summer. But not him. Because he knows all about rockets, but that's not enough for good grades. It hurts him that they won't see each other again at school after the summer. So now he has to seize the opportunity to get in touch with Nina. And Nina is also reluctant to go home straight after school. Is she waiting for Paul? What the two 12-year-olds then experience is a wonderful afternoon. The beginning of a friendship. Maybe even love? But the fact is, when two people experience the same thing, it is by no means the same thing. And it becomes quite amusing when the audience can look into Nina's head and then Paul's, to see what it looks like when the butterflies are dancing in their stomachs. Every moment can create misunderstandings. And then there are the insecurities and fears that need to be overcome.
A story about friendship, first love and trust, honoured with the Mühlheimer KinderStückePreis 2013.
