In collaboration with the "Landesdirektion Deutsche und Ladinische Musikschule"

The cross-border initiative ‘Young Soloists on Stage’, which aims to promote outstanding young musicians from South Tyrol and North Tyrol in a special way and introduce them to a larger concert audience, takes place alternately in Merano and Bressanone.
In addition to the Tyrolean chamber orchestra Innstrumenti with its conductor and presenter Gerhard Sammer, the Institute for Music Education (German and Ladin Music Schools in the German Education Department) has played a key role in developing and promoting the project. The South Tyrolean Artists' Association is also involved with composition commissions, with the effect that young musicians engage with contemporary music.
