Hollawind - 9th International Children’s Theatre Festival
Hollawind is a Tyrolean expression of wonder, admiration and our goal when we first organised a Hollawind Festival was to hear a “Hollawind!” from the audience, when they see what children's theatre can be, but also from the participants when they come here and immerse themselves in this children's theatre festival.
This goal has remained. We continue to look for ongoing children's theatre groups where children between the ages of 10 and 14 are on stage telling their stories. We are looking for groups who are open to exchange, who want to collaborate and learn with other groups, who want to open themselves up to discussion about their plays.
Children's theatre groups with children between 10 and 14 years old who want to share their visual performances with an international audience.
- exciting, stimulating and inspiring moments
- a varied social programme (planned by children for children)
- accommodation and meals for 12 children in host families or a youth hostel (+ 2 accompanying persons)
- a professional stage
We are looking forward to your application!
Participating groups present theatre pieces with a visual character that are understandable for an international audience (not text-based) in a duration of between 30 and 45 minutes.
The groups apply with plays that have already been performed in their places of origin.
Each group will be given a preparation time of one hour before the start of the performance. No further rehearsal or preparation time is foreseen.
Neither groups nor players or directors receive any payment for the performance of their play.
Groups agree to actively participate in all events within the festival.
If you have read the rules and can accept them, register. The best thing is to do it now!
